Because many Korean Hottests have communicated their reasons for the boycott on popular fansites. They explained that if 2PM continues to do well with 6 members, then there will be a higher chance that Jay will be unable to rejoin the group. Furthermore, they stress that by making 2PM’s success (without Jay) difficult, it will force JYPE to keep Jay’s path back to 2PM and to Korea open, very open.

My personal 2 CENTS:
I respect Jay’s decision, but I will not accpet the fact that 2PM is the same w/o their ORIGINAL LEADJA. Thus, we HOTTEST must understand the sides of the coin of this boycott, it either supports OR hurt the boys in return && I truely support the boys, all of them. BUT I will not support JYPE, because they are not protecting& doing all they can do for the boys now that there is turmoil, and showing them what 2PM is REALLY about:

TIME TO GROW STRONGER TOGETHER, SHOWING UNITY & FAMILY.

In that, I support words that JYPark himself stated about family and growth. But I do ask, “where is the spark and shine JYP/JYPE seen in the first place…??” Like the saying goes, in order to get to the green side to the rainbow we must endure the rain. Like his mother, we should encourage Jay to continue, and in return he will work hard for his loved ones: family, friends, 2PMhyungs, and we the HOTTESTS. I don’t support this boycott nor am I against it, and I know&understand the good intentions behind it.

But because of JYP&2PM Jay is a changed better person. I hope 2PM all the best, we HOTTESTS are with you boys~! ACHA-FIGHTING~!!!

P.s.

I personally think this a likable option, but are we all opted out…? We don’t want to force it, we want Jay back no doubt, but we want him back because he wants to.  6 member 2PM is better then none. We don’t want to burden the boys, they all work & trained hard physically, socially, & most intense mentally where they are today. Jay did his job as a leader and did what he thought was right. Although taking responsibility it should not have led to his departure & unknown future with 2PM, whereas we know he’s in need of space & time with his family and loved ones. The only thing that we can do is support Jay and not to forget the rest of boys who are suffering much much more.  We the HOTTESTs & people are so taken back by this little incident and the outcomes being so crude and unjust actions taken from his past.  And in that, light of hopes for him to return to his position as a leader. This situation that is created, hopefully it won’t back fire….
